For the Wasserman’s Art & Design team campaign case study interview, I chose to analyze Beats by Dre’s You Love Me campaign. I conducted an in-depth study of the campaign’s cultural relevance, visual storytelling, and creative strategy. Building on this research, I developed a strategic breakdown and creative direction concepts that stayed true to Beats’ bold visual identity.

I designed and presented a comprehensive pitch deck to Wasserman’s creative team, demonstrating my ability to combine strategy with design execution.
Process & Research:
I was inspired by You Love Me in particular due to its boundary-pushing sentiment. While most companies chose to stay silent or respond with empty words during a time of socio-political turmoil, Beats by Dr. Dre went beyond traditional advertising. Instead of centering their product, they created a narrative that paid homage to the very people who made the brand's success possible Black culture and creativity. In my research, I analyzed how each decision worked together to create something culturally resonant and historically significant. This was more than a marketing push— it was a statement that set a new benchmark for what brand storytelling could be.
