During my internship at Wasserman as an Art Direction Intern, I supported the creative team behind Samsung’s digital, social, and experiential campaigns. My work focused on maintaining visual cohesion across platforms, analyzing cultural and editing trends, and assisting the art directors and designers in preparing assets for global rollout. I worked on multiple campaigns simultaneously, helping shape the visual direction of short-form content while supporting the production workflow that brings large-scale creative to life.
Process & Research:
A core part of my process involved strategy and visual ideation for upcoming campaigns. For the Samsung x NYC Marathon and Moohan VR campaign, I helped explore early creative directions around community storytelling, motion pacing, and concept suggestions that tied into tech culture. My process began with weekly trend reporting-- tracking emerging aesthetics, motion languages, editing styles, and cultural shifts across TikTok, Instagram, and youth culture movements. These reports informed the art direction of upcoming content, shaping decisions around pacing, color, tone, and platform-native storytelling. Executionally, I supported senior and junior art directors by preparing assets for cross-platform deliverables, such as resizing, reformatting, and redesigning. This included adapting layouts for vertical vs. horizontal, ensuring visual consistency between regions, and applying Samsung's global visual system.
